About Me
In 1995 I began making unjointed bears which I sold wholesale to Melbourne gift shops, until I discovered the thrill of making patterns for jointed bears and fell in love with the quality of mohair fabric. In 1997 I was awarded two ribbons at the Sydney bear show, one just for a bear and one for a diorama of a fully dressed bear. After years of making bears primarily for family and friends, I have recently opened a gallery in the Tasmanian rural town of Kempton, where I live. The bears, Roger the Dog, and the lion featured in my proflie picture are loving the attention they are receiving at the gallery! Currently I am working with needle felting of merino wool muzzles, oversized hands and feet and different ways of creating stronger character faces. I currently have a website for the gallery, but it has not been built yet (the gallery has been open for four weeks). At present promotions are done via the gallery's facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/GalleryKemptonTasmania Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text.
