Hey,

My name is Lyn and I am a self confessed Craftaholic. I have been sewing since I was old enough to hold a needle and have been addicted to just about every craft known to man. After leaving school(many years ago) I trained as a TAFE teacher in Sewing and  Design gaining knowledge I find very helpful in my bearmaking.

I still like many crafts but Bears won and I finally settled on them fulltime about 16 years ago. My Bears have gone through many changes over the years from large and Traditional to Modern Character and now to Minatures. One thing they all seem to have in common is an attitude problem.

I am having loads of fun making my little creations many of which are a bit left of centre. I tend not to settle on just one style as I have a very short attention span and like to keep things fresh and new(too many ideas not enough years).

I attend about 5 shows a year ( I love meeting and talking face to face with the collectors) as well as selling online and participating in online shows, this keeps me quite busy.

Arthritus in my hands(getting old, Yuck) limits the amount of Bears I can make each year but I do hope to still be making them for a long time to come. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I couldn't sew.
