Is any one home!!!! It seems ages since we had a post. Is every body heads down and tails up sewing. Tell us who is going to Hugglett's, or some other exciting news?

HI KAY!!!!! The Bear Scout is taking some of my bears to Hugglets - wish I could be there in person. I am busy writing my next article for Teddy Bear Times! The next one out has the article about Bears That Care Charity Auction! 

Tryin to get SOME sewing in between everything else! 

I sent my Bears that Care, bear off last week. You are doing so well in the publishing business. Well done. Your bears must be getting excited about the big trip to Hugglets. I have just finished a bear that was a commission for a bear like the owners bear, when she was a child. No picture; the picture was in her head. I took it to her every step of the way. Where to place the ears, How big were the ears. I cut out lots of different nose shapes and pinned them on. Choosing eye colour and size. It was difficult but in the end she was thrilled.

Now to cut out a new one today.

Well done, Kay! Some of these commisssions are really hard work and I worry all the way if they will be happy with the finished critter.  I recently finished the commission for a boy and girl penguin. The girl was slightly smaller, and they could hold hands with Earth magnets in their fins.....and they had little love heart pillow with the couples names on them. SO SWEET! 

Hi Girls! I've just finished 2 weeks holiday ... although I tried to keep sewing throughout My big news is I was offered a cancellation table at Hugglets! YAY! SO I should get to see some of you after all. There is one thing though; my table no. was previously the Bear Scout's - has it moved somewhere else Wendy? I do hope your bearies will still get to go

Goodness, there just aren't enough hours in the day are there! I'll definitely try and come back to post next week too.

HI Ruth, Felicia (bear scout)  is on table 58 or 68 in the first hall. She was offered a better position and grabbed it! Thanks for your concern, Ruth!  PLEASE drop by and say hello to her from me!

I'll be on 104. I actually had this table last September too - although it's in the basement I found it was the "lightest" position in the room; opposite the main stairs where there are big windows I really hope to get a rush-round at some point so I can visit all the BAO ers!! Are you working your fingers to the bone at the mo' too Susan??? Lol!

I am so envious of you girls going to Hugglets.  Britt and I went on our first ever trip to England last year and it was a complete dream come true.  What a fabulous atmosphere and I had to keep pinching myself to believe I was there.  I could have brought so many bears - the temptation was enormous.  The other thing I really loved at Hugglets was the vintage bears - just gorgeous. 

I have just had to buy a new laptop as my computer finally gave up the ghost.  Luckily I have a teenager to take shopping with me to translate all the technological jargon.  The only time the sales person talked to me was when it was time to pay!!!  Ha.  I am just learning all the new gizmos on it and I'm afraid I don't like change much, so I am a bit slow.  Hope all the girls going to Hugglets have the best time ever.

GOSH counting down the days to Hugglets.......lucky lucky girls going. Wish I was there!
