Hi all. Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter a little bit early. We'll be going out of town to visit our daughter later this week. I'll take my laptop, but Ashley usually has activities planned for us.

Have a lovely time, Marlys. I think Chris has firewood gathering activities planned for us! I also need to keep up the sewing for the Teddy Bear Fair in Berwick (Victoria) on the 1st May! So I'll need plenty of chocolate to keep me going, I think

We have easter sunday with Robert's family. Amusingly this is the only meal you'd ever want to avoid at his families house. they make the traditional sicilian lamb pie called an impanata. It seems to be particular to the region his grandparents are from of Ragusa. Of course when it is made in italy easter is in spring when lamb is beautiful, sweet and young. It just never has the same effect when made in australia with lamb that is past it's prime. The crust is tough and sodden with mutton juices and everyone makes jokes about how bad it is. "but it's tradition" everyone says and so we must endure.

Other than that I'll be trying to get as much sewing done as possible and working out a table set up for the melbourne fair.

Wishing Everyone a very happy and safe easter...hoping the easter bunny is generous. If the weather is fine I want to get into the garden and do a tidy up before the cold sets in for good...a good way to work off those chocolate bunnies.

Sending "Happy Easter" greetings to everybody here Tomorrow  I will be off to stay with my Father over the weekend , with 2 of my sons and the doggies.This will be our first proper visit since my Mum passed away (can't believe I typed that) and everything will be quite strange. I'm taking a casserole with me for the Friday ... and I'll be making a lovely iced  lemon cake in the morning ; just want to bring some "sunshine" with me really!
